Maizuru Tsutsuji (azalea) Matsuri Festival is one of the festivals that takes place in Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture.
25,000 tsutsuji, designated as the flower of the city, are planted around Higashi-Maizuru Park, and on every main festival day, May 4, events such as ceremony and karaoke singing competitions take place and the festival is bustles with branch shop stands. Direct shuttle bus service is available from West Japan Railway Higashi Maizuru Station to the park only on the main festival day.
